Choice Model Program
The Choice Model Program (formerly known as the Adult Mental Health Initiative program - AMHI) is designed to promote more effective utilization of current capacity in facility-based treatment settings, increase care coordination, and increase accountability at a local and state level for helping people with serious and persistent mental illness remain as independent as possible and avoid institutional placements. Choice Model is funded by the Oregon Health Authority through agreements with a set of regional contractors representing Community Mental Health Programs and Coordinated Care Organizations (statewide coverage is available).
